Hectic!

It's been an extremely hectic week here so I haven't been able to get on her and update. So it all started last Thursday when my mema fell and has gone down hill from there! Thankfully my mema is ok, she is in a nursing home for right now though trying to get better. Please keep her and my papa in your prayers. I was emotionally and physically drained after the weekend and when we got home from Clovis my inlaws came over and stayed until 10:45 so we didn't get to bed until late on Sun Ugh!

Then on Wednesday I started to feel bad so I decided to stay home on Thurs. and go to the dr. Well it turns out that I have bronchitis :(

As if feeling miserable wasn't enough, God thought that he would try my patience with my daughter last night at the
grocery store!
I went to the store in Lubbock so that I could get my prescription filled and get some groceries at the same time, multitasking it's what mom's do!

Makenzie started to get hungry so I went to the juice aisle and picked up a package of her organic juice that she likes, opened it and gave her 1. She proceeded to suck the little juice box dry! Then as I am getting her some dried bananas I look up and she is...EATING the juice box! One might mistake this for a hungry child, but remember my child eats everything...including books and her crib! I went over and grabbed her some more fruit leather bars for at home and I opened one and let her eat it. She was a happy camper...for the moment!

When we got to the checkout I was telling the checker that she had allready eaten one of the fruit leathers and he said ok and put one on the counter...
dun dun dun...that is when the fit began
She started writhing, and whining, and crying, and pushing away from me, all because she wanted another stupid fruit leather!
In the meantime the lady behind me has a baby boy and he is just as happy as can be and she is playing with him and staring at me...
you know that "how could you let your child act like that" stare.
It was so embarrasing.
I was praying for the checker to hurry up so we could leave.
Normally I would have just walked out of a place if she was acting like that...but we really needed groceries.

To end the story as soon as we got in the car she fell asleep...of course no one was around then!

See Makenzie is an angel. She fell asleep in the car and I am sure looked like the angel she is. While in the grocery store her halo slipped just a little. Love, Suggi
